1. General Provisions
This Policy governs the use of cookies and similar technologies by FINDPROEASY SERVICES LIMITED (the “Company”) on the website www.findpro.com.cy. This Policy should be read together with the Company’s Privacy Policy.
Data processing is carried out in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), the applicable law of the Republic of Cyprus, and the rules implementing Directive 2002/58/EC (ePrivacy).
2. What is a Cookie
A cookie is a small text file stored on the user’s device when visiting the website. Depending on their purpose, cookies may ensure the technical functioning of the website, security, retention of user settings and analysis of website use. In certain cases, information collected via cookies (such as IP address or online identifiers) may constitute personal data under the GDPR.
3. Categories of Cookies Used
3.1. Strictly necessary cookies — required for the website to work and to provide the requested services: navigation, operation of the personal account, registration processing, security, and saving cookie-setting choices. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract) and/or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest). No consent is required.
3.2. Analytics cookies — used to analyse traffic and improve website functionality. We may use our own analytics tools and third-party analytics platforms (including, but not limited to, Google Analytics). Analytics cookies are set solely where the user has given consent. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR — consent. We do not use analytics cookies for behavioural advertising and do not sell data to third parties.
4. Recipients of Data
Where consent to analytics cookies is given, data may be processed by analytics providers and technical providers acting on the Company’s behalf under data-processing agreements (Art. 28 GDPR).
5. Transfers Outside the EU
Depending on the analytics tool used, data may be processed outside the European Economic Area. In particular, when Google Analytics is used, data is transferred to Google. In such cases, the transfer is carried out using the protection mechanisms provided by the GDPR: the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or other permitted international-transfer mechanisms. The Company does not itself transfer data to third countries outside the use of the relevant analytics services.
6. Retention Period
Cookies may be session cookies (deleted when the browser is closed) or persistent cookies (stored for a set period depending on their purpose).
7. Managing Cookies
On the first visit, a banner is shown allowing the user to accept analytics cookies or to continue using the website with strictly necessary cookies only. Consent is stored on the user’s device via a technical cookie. The user may withdraw consent by deleting cookies through the browser settings, after which the banner will be shown again on the next visit.
